Jacob Nachum, OD
Since 1994, Dr. Jacob Nachum has been giving the gift of vision to Manhattan, combining his love for New York City and her people with an unparalleled expertise in his field. A graduate of SUNY College of Optometry in 1983, Dr. Nachum works in concert with his caring staff of expert visual and medical assistants to reveal new worlds of sight to his clients from simple eye exams to co-managing pre and post-op refractive laser patients with some of the best refractive surgeons in the New York area.
Dr. Nachum completed a residency in ocular disease and contact lenses at the V.A. Medical Centers in West Roxbury and Brockton, Massachusetts, two Harvard University teaching hospitals. Dr. Nachum is a Doctor of Optometry and a member of the American and New York State Optometric Associations. He is also a member of the New York City Optometric Society, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons and the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists.
Dr. Priyanka Patel, OD
Dr. Priyanka Patel is a board-certified optometrist at Associated Eye Medical in Lower Manhattan’s Financial District. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in 2024.
Her clinical interests include retinal disease, glaucoma, ocular surface disease, and surgical co-management. Dr. Patel is passionate about providing accessible, patient-centered eye care and has participated in volunteer initiatives serving underserved communities.
