Jacob Nachum, OD
Since 1994, Dr. Jacob Nachum has been giving the gift of vision to Manhattan, combining his love for New York City and her people with an unparalleled expertise in his field. A graduate of SUNY College of Optometry in 1983, Dr. Nachum works in concert with his caring staff of expert visual and medical assistants to reveal new worlds of sight to his clients from simple eye exams to co-managing pre and post-op refractive laser patients with some of the best refractive surgeons in the New York area.
Dr. Nachum completed a residency in ocular disease and contact lenses at the V.A. Medical Centers in West Roxbury and Brockton, Massachusetts, two Harvard University teaching hospitals. Dr. Nachum is a Doctor of Optometry and a member of the American and New York State Optometric Associations. He is also a member of the New York City Optometric Society, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons and the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists.
Dr. Erica Weinfeld
Dr. Erica Weinfeld received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Bases of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and her Doctor of Optrometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 2002. Dr. Weinfeld was a Schnurmacher Merit Scholar recipient and a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society. While at SUNY, she completed rotations in their Specialty Contact Lens clinic as well as the Segundo Ruiz Belvis Diagnostic and Treatment Center in the Bronx.
Dr. Weinfeld provides comprehensive eye care and is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She administers all pre- and post-operative care for LASI candidates. Dr. Weinfeld is also experienced in fitting RGP, astigmatic, multifocal, and specialty contact lenses. She is currently licensed to practice in New York and Florida. Dr. Weinfeld resides in Manhattan with her husband and boy/girl twins.
